In a significant stride towards sustainable development, the Government of Suriname proudly presented its First Voluntary National Review (VNR) at the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development organized by the United Nations. The VNR marked Suriname’s commitment to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, showcasing the nation’s progress, challenges, and initiatives related to various Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Among the key SDGs highlighted in Suriname’s report were Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), Goal 13 (Climate Action), and Goal 17 (Partnership for the Goals).<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Goal 4: Quality Education<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Suriname has made commendable strides in advancing Goal 4 by prioritizing quality education for all its citizens.
