These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: • Manage and coordinate the execution of all activities under the Contract to ensure that the contracted functions are performed efficiently, effectively and in accordance with the client's scope of requirement and underlying standards. • Provide efficient liaison functions and establish efficient lines of communication with client representatives. • Be responsible for the administration and discipline of all Laundry employees assigned to the contract. • Make a continuing analysis of all project operations whilst identifying opportunities for improvement, including cost-saving opportunities for RA and our client. • Participate in performance evaluation meetings • The Laundry Manager must be fluent in English, both in spoken and written form. • The applicant will oversee that all equipment is in functional condition and that services and repairs are executed as required or reported timeously to the client’s representative. • The applicant will maintain all materials related to the contract, keeping tight control on inventory and forecasting of additional stock. • Shall be responsible for collecting housekeeping, clothes and garments (e.g. bed sheets, towels, etc.) in accordance with an established schedule receptacles at designated collection points. • Shall be responsible for ensuring delivery of housekeeping, clothes and garments and delivering cleaned, washed, neatly folded items to designated receiving areas. • Responsible for regular ordering to maintain inventory. • Ascertain the clients’ needs and inform management of the same. • Prepare daily and monthly reporting on laundry bags & bed linen laundered, as well as recording any missing items or bags, including steps to resolve any issues. • Conduct HSE inspections, reporting and training in Hospitality-related services. • Implement or improve Standard Operating Procedures. • Monitor service delivery performance and implement improvements where necessary. • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching, development and corrective action where necessary. • Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities, and demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning and prioritising, and self-development.https://localcontentsuriname.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Local-Content-Development-Office-Suriname-LCDO-Logo-BG1200.jpg1200675
